HOLIDAY: A HOLY DAY
I have beheld the motif of
Holiday and the ensual aloft.
We break the break of break
For pleasure and of titillation-
Paying homage to the wants
Of the eyes, adhering to flesh.
Love is lost to lust and pangs
Of pain is paying the price of
Pleasure. Holiday has halted
And hurt the Holy heart of all.
A break to break off from labor
Has stained the sect with stain.
Fade fade is the fun of flesh
And vanity is the end thereof.
Solomon has stated the story-
With a curse as cross to his
Course. Will you still welcome
Carousal as guest this holiday?
Holiday is also a holy day so
Treat it like sabbath; the holy
Day. Be you of fun or pleasure;
Remember the ancient landmark
And mark the land in its holies;
Let Jah be praised in your break.
A holiday is of rest and felicity-
A family sect in one table of
Glee with banters bantering
The feast and body and soul is
Light, awaiting the day of work.
Holiday is no day for carousal.
I stand at the bay watching-
Learning the language of my ink-
Learning how to handle my pen.
