When I Age In Age: Judaisky Cares

When I Age In Age

When my age shall age in age-
With youth flirting in mental image
Of how my morning was spent-
Let me not to the disgrace of life
Nor the regret of its tidings;
Let me age in the gain of feat.

When my age shall age in age-
Let my age great grey hair and
The autumn of life, with bents
Of wisdom whizzing out of my
Own built inner lawn where the
Philomaths come to tap current.

When my age shall age in age-
Let me tell the tales of my tales
To the trending teens, of the true
Esprit of life and its course aloft.
If perchance I shall age in age-
Let me eat the heat of a gramp.

When my age shall age in age-
Let me spy the vista of moonlight
Surrounded by progenies of clans-
To make myth a meat for ’em to
Feast; just like my mother in her
Moonlight tales every eventide.

When my age shall age in age-
Let my youth be a cynosure for
All who pine and greed the greed
Of gumption and of horse sense.
I lived my youth a savant thespian
But be a witness howbeit I age.
I stand at bay the watching-
Learning the language of my ink-
Learning how to handle my pen.
