My life is tied to making things right
If I right not the wrongs then i lose it all
So here am i with a resolve to life
I plant myself before so that you see the light
So that you give back my rights

I as Lafayette,
Raise the flag to purify the house of shame
I jumped in remorse of the course but tears are fuel
And man was born to cry,
Why can’t liberty be ours to exercise
Why do struggles have to come with a price
And why should we get axed for demanding change
Step up and march for what is ours
Sing for freedom, sing justice and preach
Unity
Say no to the draconian rule
Be a Vanguard to this city walls,
Lest not darkness eat us in dreams
Shine the lighters of tormented souls
Vow in the spirit of a martyr
And so we march to bring back our legacy
If we fall, we rise
Only gentle sheep are led to the
Slaughter,
Steal the knife and stop the next spill of
Blood
Take over the farm and expel the real animals
Our peace they deny, now lets march till we die

I’m reminded of yesterday when it was all
About color, race and creed,
How foolhardy where we to fight and chant the
Magamba songs,
How stupid were to run from a bear only to
Meet to a prowling lion
As of we parley with deceitful brothers,
Zimbabweans lives matter now
