AFRICA SMILES

It’s but a fair river-
Where white waters
Draw strength to live;
To claim lords of all.

In the black smile all
Is come to conform.
The white brothers
Are soothed and
Fairy foes freed.

Let me speak for black-
Their ebony smile and
Radiating beauty aloft.
Call black and smile is come.

Like the rays of the morning sun
Happiness is birthed
Through the window of your heart.

An art piece of peace
Your smile is nature’s gentle touch
It glows.

A blend of colours;
Happy shades of green and joy
Splash!

Beauty carved from the bark of nature.
Love and rains
Drip.

Happiness is free will
Live it to the fullest
Because it gives you joy

Undeniable freedom
Smiling your sorrows away
Sun rays shinning blessings.

Playing around joyful kids
Mesmerizing good thinking
Sitting side by side, your intimate being.

Let’s keep smiling onward
Just like the shining sun
And glowing as the glittering moon

Let’s keep flowing,
Flowing through smiles
Like the airs of water splashes
A feeling of inner peace

Let’s empty our sorrow
Like rush of stream
A broken calabash
Is not meant for the stream

Let’s keep smiling
As we look forward
Toward tomorrow

The heaven has refused to rain,
The soil in tandem- hard face
Hoarding the fruit for man to eat.
But in a plant full earth we plant,
And instead of heavenly wail,
From the bowl mama drown us
With water… All happy — in glee.
If the heavens fail to make us glee
Why can’t man create his own glee?

With the smile on the firmament face
The shining day
And the weather looks in, explaining smiles

A picturesque African lady
With a glimpse of smile on her face
Which signifies how hullabaloo the day is
The kid’s smile is escalated
showing how joyful they are

Beautiful Africa
Black is great with an attractive environment
bringing joy into our lifetime
Moulding an attractive World of Africa.

Joy overflows in our heart,
As the drop of water,
From the calabash
decorates our heart,
With songs of gladness.

The flows of water,
Heals our pains,
Remembering those good memories with
The taste of joy.

We dance like the feast,
Dressed in our cultural attire,
With pleasure from smiles,
And swims in joy,
In one continued song.

In the centre of a village
A touch of a glimpse of light
Overrides darkness
Brings forth the long waiting sun
Unfolds the peace that floats all over

In a noiseless friendly day
Revealing the three sisters
Dressed in African attire
Moistened hair and body
While enjoying the nature in unison

O Africa!
It’s entrance is as beautiful as heaven’s gate
Yet
Wall of Jericho for others
But well known for its art and culture
