THE GIANT PEN ANTHOLOGY, 200
HIDDEN IN THE SUN
The wisdom of man is folly
Before the presence of Jah.
He who thinks he’s wise
Should tell the date of his death.
Your safety haven is like
A hidden pregnancy before the sun.
Glory, glory they rave.
A wanderer lost and delirious,
A beacon sought after
To set aright the unsettling world,
Preaching in gaol bright,
But a wanderer remains.
Hearts out, in the streets we all run
Look back to when man held no gun
Back in the days when we were human
Look at what to each other we’ve done
Our eyes blinded by the sins of man
Like we’re all staring at the hidden sun.

Man long for truth of truism.
For if he opt to monster up his chase
To reach, the bottom of the sun,
And seek the secrets
Sacred creeds living in the sun.
Man is gaga, seeking his brain.
Hidden in the sun is pleasure,
That warms in the cold sandy beaches,
Hidden in the sun is treasure,
That fill the tables with delicacies,
Hidden in the sun is pressure,
That gets one out of the bed whenever it rises.
Hidden behind the sun
Enshrouded in mystery
Who shall tell the origin of God?
Thick cloak hovering over the day
Foolishness beclouding man’s way
Oh! Tell me the tale of the sun
Hidden in the sun
Like the destiny of my unborn
Hidden in the sun,
Like the fortunes of tomorrow
I haven’t seen, hidden
To me my next second of thoughts.
Hidden in the sun is love
The serendipity of loving
So pure yet so dirty
Like the waters of the Nile
So vast yet so calm
Hidden in the sun is love
My first love was hidden,
Hidden in the sun of early morning.
Not loving the sun but loving soon.
Disunite the sun, my son is inside…
For the hidden sun is hidden my treasure.
Let it speaks the truth.

If we enjoy sweetness for a very long time
Without ever tasting a little bit of bitterness
The world will tire one easily
He who has never experienced difficulty before
Can never truly appreciate the sweetness of Opulence.
He who never be in hidden camera can never know the truth of life
Our fraternity evaded,
My shade no longer pervaded,
Barricaded within your shoulders,
My vision smolders on colder days,
The skies befriended polders in a blaze,
Forever I remain hidden – in thy maze.

I’m told I can’t do anything
They say my strength is meagre
They undermine my effort
Each day I cultivate my strength
And, my ability to squeeze the last drop
Of my energy despite being hidden in the sun
Solemnly on this sorrowful bed of mine,
Laid I daily awaiting the light to shine.
A mere night for me was often a nightmare,
Having the dark pierce through me like a spear.
Alas! My long awaited bright light came,
The sun rose and hidden -it was my name.
