Back to school, 1st of July, 2019.

In a buzzing palpitations of a refulgent
And colourful
Luminaries of young fellas,
Here we are in our last days
Dancing to the archaic lyrics
We wish to never forget.

If not all, but few
Cherish the days at our colleges
We cherish
The good and
The bad days of daze.
It was a great moments in our lives
And now
We conjoin in a friction match
To make the busy day a fun day.

One way or the other
We’ve once engaged in a sport activity
Be it in our preliminary days or presently.
Whatever today brings,
It brings something new –
Spins round and round
We still rejoice,
In the attires of a sportsman and woman.

We are all Soc’ 19
Enjoying the bond of 4 years and beyond
But today has paved way for our cultural differences…
To celebrate and demo in finesse

The Yoruba’s Aso ofi yg
Makes their men adorable on a Danshiki
And encapsulate their ladies in a befitting iro ati buba

The Hausa’s guinea type attire
Daa Fulani making a humor in their Babban riga
And their animated colourful ladies costumed in an Abaya
With their hands full of artistic hyeenas

With all these culturalY contrast,
We still aver the concept of mechanical solidarity.

I chose to be an industrial sociologist

My friend chose to be a medical sociologist
A course mate of mine choose to be a legal sociologist
So many career opportunities, only for the interested ones.

On this day we marked the end of our final year activities
We believed int ourselves till this day
We all cant’ wait as the exam calls forth
Amidst us are the sagacious ones, the ace dwellers,
The adept figures,
The innovators,
The megastars and The mavens.
For these days we shall never draw a blank at
For the love of our lecturers, being our phenomenal
Role Models…
