CHAPTER 1 VERSE 9
THE PRICE FOR EXCELLENCE
The fear of what may be or the otherwise thereof is one of the major clog in the wheel of excellence. There is the Yoruba adage that: anyone who desires to taste of the honey from the rock, will not hesitate to hit the rock hard with the axe.
Sometimes, some of the things we do at the moment may not make sense. Hell! They may not even have the required excellence that our hearts desires and that also for which people will reckon with it in our lives, and this is despite the fact that these activities are our passions.
There is a message here and it is persistence and consistency. Sometimes, we need to pass through mediocrity in order to appreciate more the value of what we do when we achieve excellence at them.
There are times when the inspiration to do that which we love Will fail us, but, nonetheless, we should do it anyway, because, that is part of our training out of mediocrity into excellence.
The human mind is rather expanse. Rage, happiness, Joy, sorrow and all the other emotions in the human mind are there to beautify us the more. We make use of them to make ourselves and our world better.
