THE GIANT PEN ANTHOLOGY 177
TRUTH ABOUT LIES
Not a safety await lies_
Not a victory as it flies.
It’s said, a tool to bilk_
But even when it crest to summit_
It brings you back to zero point_
And invite disgrace in all joint.
In nature’s cradle
Earth’s children struggle
To give their heart freedom,
To desist from untruth.
They are continually influenced
To influenced lies and live a life of affluence.
I fear the words you say
Dread the pains you bear
Scorn the hate we share
Truthfully, I know you joke not
When you jokingly said,
“My end on earth is near”
The truth about lies;
Truth they wear in disguise
And just as death lives in life,
Lie sleeps with truth like a loyal wife
But in the end like death truth wins,
And the building of trust it ruins.
Do you know the truth about lies
Or the power that it hides
That no matter how someone tries
The truth never dies
Cause even when all dies
The truth is always greater than lies
E. D. Oghre
It saves you tales you don’t want to tell_
It makes you feel alive when actually, you’re getting closer to hell_
Shinning at dark times like light; but in reality is a mirage_
Escaping you from freedom that’s void of boredom where one can be in charge_
Just when you think you are through and had won_
Lies flies, despite years of construction, only to leave you torn.
The truth about lies
Even when he dies
His ghost always dive
These lies aren’t lie
Truth never dies
Ghost sometimes fly
Beautifully constructed like a gold
It’s nice and sweet to behold
But flying on the air like a ball
When it is down it dig a hole
Behold it owner is bound to fall
Like a rabbit into its hole.
When lie lies abound in the stillness of the dark,
And the truthfulness of truth once seeps through
The devil in the dark frets and its true–
Nature emerges from the dark;
Some confectionery of deceit,
And a seductive oratory wit.
Why do I smell lies in every truth?
Why do I feel I’ve been deceived to accept what seems not real?
Why do I have to fake been real?
Why do I carry this burden I can’t just drop?
Why do I have not to be me?
All because of truth about lies
Oh! Tell them It’s all lie
I’ve been there many times
I’ve seen the truth in it
Truth begot by lie
And it shall be permanent in the kingdom race,
For there is no truth without lie.
Confidence at first taste
Questions shake it’s confidence terribly
For truth might likely decide,
Punishment in pursuit
Rage and anger follows
If not stable.
So many lies been told
But how many lies bears the truth,
Like evil bears bad in form of good
Falsehood May live for a decade
But righteousness makes all a facade on a good day,
So tell me not a lie, I refuse to be evil.
We lie to protect ourselves from the consequence
We give out lie
Since lying seems to be the only truth,
And the main truth becomes a bitter taste.
Oh! We give out lie
To scale our way through.
Bake a pie filled with your lies,
I’ll devour it and digest your conscience and guilt.
Pour me a drink that stink with your white lies,
It’ll quench my question-filled grieving throat
My heart is an art of trepidation, black truth takes trust to miles.
I’ll hold, kiss and love you even though I don’t enjoy eating your truthful lies.
When lies live underneath the tongue–
Then truth combat for justice,
This mighty ocean we swim–
Leads to destination of doom.
When lies dispose the heart!
Then truth expose the part.
