AN EPISTLE OF JUDAISKY TO AFRICA
CHAPTER 11, CHAPTER 25
LOVE AND RELIGION.
I was pushed to write this, seeing the kind of mistakes and lives we live.
Lately, something happened and I began to question myself about the journey love is taking us to.
I have many parents insisting their children won’t marry from another religion except the one they are known with.
And I have seen many people too saying they can’t marry opposite religion.
That’s not all, I see many people crying, lamenting and even going to the extend of killing themselves all because they can’t, or were told not to marry opposite religion.
After ruminating over this, I now pick my pen to address this issue because it seems to be getting out of hand.
Let’s start from the creation.
When God created Adam and Eve, there wasn’t baaricades to whom we can marry. But as time flies, things began to take a new look and drift.
We began to divide ourselves with different names, religion and cultures.
But whee I’m really going is.
Why don’t we free ourselves to dwell under the unity and umbrella of love hence love seme to be one of the strongest thing that unite people, families and even nations.
If you think I am lying, go and see this movie titled Ẹ̀BÙN ÌFẸ́ (THE GIFT OF LOVE)
When we allow love to be shared amongst us, I wonder if there will be war, envy or strives because when you think of fighting, you will remember it will affect someone you love, either your family in another religion, your friends or lover(s).
Think twice before you act. If love can break giants and warriors, then you should know its strong, sweet, innocent pure and true.
Love is beyond friendship, relationship and marriage.
If you as a mother or father should restrict love because of religion and God from heavens is ready or have already approved it, do you think you will go scot free for hindering two lovebirds to have their peace?
Never say never to love because of religion. We are the religion but God is love and God is Supreme above us.
Think twice. What’s religion compare to happiness. What’s religion compare to the bliss of two souls daring to erect a castle of love in eden.
All what we are striving is to please God.
The erection of religion is to please God and God is love.
If you obstruct true love because of religion, God can take away your joy with something someone can help too.
We will treat LOVE and TRIBALISM when I cross your path again but…
Till I cross your path again_
I hang my pen 🖋
