ARÁMÍDÉ (A POEM WRITTEN BY YEMITTEDPOET)

ARÁMÍDÉ.

Your name speaks and lingers,
Like the ceaseless rain in June.
So let it be a rain of love
Inside my sea boat.

Arámídé omo òpéké
Her beauty flashes like the uncommon
diamond found somewhere in Liberia.

Ará mí
Sternly, Here’s a sweet love
Once it has been found,
Let me spill into spieces
of many ant in parcel of a sweetened sugar.

Your gleaming eyes winks
Like the break light of a car
that seems to stop at a nearby junction.

Ará iwájú n wòran, èrò èyìn n wò o.
Sing loudly, I’m here to dance korobá korobà,
To the uttermost of your melodious song,
Blowing like a boom boom sounds of bomb in sambisa forest.

Arámidé
Forget my truthful lies
And take it as a fireflies,
like the wind in the wet season,
Love could never be hide,
For it burns in the heart like fire.

Ará mi
I found a solace in your heart,
Give me an eternal love like an Everest juice.
