I ONCE HAD A DREAM ( When Optimism Was The Genesis)
A TOPIC BEGOTTEN OF MOJISOLA JOSEPHINE

I am bereaved in the death of good men
When the clan is blessed of love.
I am mourning the deceased of justice
Where the guilty face the law.
My wring hands are sour_
For my dreams for future broken
Like a lost kite aloft the air.

I once had a dream_
A dream of a bountiful marshland
Where the belly of all is secured.
A tiny rope covering the secret of belly_
Giving the peasant upper hand and a say.
I once had a dream_
Where all tread to farmland
On a given free day in the clan.

I once had a dream_
Where love is at home_
And we pluck from its bountiful tree.
Love to the depth_
Flowing like Mississippi
To all that knows its value.
Sacrificial love of Golgotha_
Even the price of the cross.
Love that bound ties_
And judge with mercy as Lord.
Love itched in the head
As His banner over us is love.

I once had a dream_
When bothers were Abel_
Giving their heart for brothers
And guiding guarding all jealously
Like they are inherited of them.
I once had a dream_
Where money never exist.
We only give to share and share to give.
Look through the hollows in the hearts_
It’s obsessed of egocentrism_
Possessed of egocentrism_
Procured of egocentrism_
Bought by egocentrism
And poisoned by egocentrism.

I once had a dream_
Where things are joint in love_
United with a sole string of unity.
But now_
Oh Alas!
Things have fallen apart_
The Pounded yam in Ekiti has left the clan_
All has chosen their own course_
Forsaken the assemblies of brethren.
My dreams in a lone deserted crowd_
Seeking for few good men_
To spread the good virus for mankind.
