A POEM TITLED CAN YOU HEAR?BY Y.A. OLAWALE(HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BLEEDING PEN)

*CAN YOU HEAR?*

Purring- whirring, purring-whirring, purring-whirring with spurring
On her ‘counterpart’ in a thunderous silence timing
Pumping out her blood as gushing out to free the contents in the brain
As her limpid and lissome aspect dance through-
The melodic and melancholic music of mind
Who is controlling who?
The brain? Or the gleaming pen?
If brain wants to pen, will she permit?

Grumbling, trembling, pumping, exciting, tumbling
She moans and jubilates in the mind of her readers’ timing
Like the coming of devilish wind
When have in mind to erode dilapidated building.
Persuading and pleading; rebuking and remarking
Of the souls in the existence
Like a husband persuades his paramour sexual urge
And as wife rebukes her an errant paramour

Hold me not! I can dance for myself
Though, thou think for yourself
Ergo, you can lead me to your wishes
Though, when your wished wishing wishes desert you
Do not rebuke me for my inaction
You can come me back as I can see your adore
And enthusiasm to see me by your side
Purring -whirring, purring a spurring is my caller tune.
