FIRST TIME LOVERS (A POEM WRITTEN BY ROLAND OGOMIGO)

FIRST TIME LOVERS

Teach me with the doctrine of your kiss,
Mesmerize me with the magic of union,
Let my trust lock with yours
So hate can disperse into thin air.

Like a leaf on calm waters,
Our love swims along with half hopes,
The elements may make war with us
But drowning for love is worthy like gold medals.

I get lost in your eyes,
Your smiles shine away doubt.

All alone in your arms,
Our eyes fight for which is sexiest,
Our tongues fight for dominance,
Hmmm,
This night will judge our union
For we will count all stars tonight.
