If and only if,
I sail beyond be reef,
And sneak back, like thief,
My foes will still have a contemptuous sniff,
And even antagonize in grief.
If I suffer before a bit,
Struggle all days with all my might,
And barely have a peaceful night,
My enemy will still wage up fight,
For they are jealous of nothing right.
If I put on my dancing sanders,
And dance on the water,
My foes will come in counter,
To jealous and to condemn,
They will tell me not to pour dust on them.
If I own a high post,
And wore an expensive coat,
If I work on the sea without bolt,
As the air blow from coast to coast,
My enemies will never stop being goat.
They try to make me mute,
Still, words escape through my tooth.
So, when I searched there root,
They were not planted with truth,
And they shall never bear good Fruit.
Those that are sick mentally,
“He” heal them miraculously,
And they all clamor hosannally.
When he say the truth and put things orderly,
They all shout ‘crucify him’.
No matter where you stay,
Or whatever you may say,
No amount you could pay,
No matter how many you care for,
Your enemy will always be for your downfall.
ADEWALE ADEYEMI INSPIRATION.
