A POEM BY A BLIND VICTIM
Darkness shines forever in my world,
My active sense organs conceives any images possible to compensate ignorance,
My useless eyes are just a model
For I’m blind as bat
And naive as a newborn child.
Like an abandoned fool left to live in his own folly,
I wander in fool’s paradise,
Counting stars with my hypothetic mind.
Experience is a teacher
But mine is a sight thief.
Except my sight escape darkness kingdom,
It will never locate awareness and love of light.
Poet: Ogomigo Roland.
