On a lonely train, she sat,
For hope as little as a dart.
On that lonely night, she thought,
What have I been taught?
Where does life leads?
What story shall I preserve with a lid?
God of light with rays of sunshine,
Can you just shower with a little sunshine?
The life I live, what does it hold?
Can it make me lose fear and be bold?
The path I take, how orchestrated is it?
Or do I tread upon it in discomfort underneath my feet as heat?
Tis a path I walk alone,
From fear and insecurity, I took a loan.
Tis a loan that choke my path,
And withdrew the hope, light gave with a pat.
Oh! What joy, it would bring for my burdens lifted,
With love and peace, in my heart, listed.
Oh! I feel a surge,
With energy and excitement as an urge.
I feel in my bones, liberation,
I have received a libation.
From life’s encampment, I will flee,
And I will rise and walk as one with a glee..
