THE WORLD WAR BY CREAMSTONE

*THE WORLD WAR*

Holding unto my undefeatable sword
Ready for the greatest battle
To go into the world and fight
With all my might.

I have heard about the mighty ones falling
As the cowards flee
At the voice of the mighty foes
While the martyrs hold onto their mighty swords.

Alas! Unto the battle field I came
With my fiery sword
A world for the braves
And not for the cowards.

But I find it to be so peaceful
Just like paradise
I find my coming to be a waste
Just like the life of a wanderer.

Only if I had known
I won’t have come with my precious sword
Only if I was told
I would have brought my sleeping mat.

I placed my sword back into its sheath
As the battle field turns my abode
With my eyes wide opened
To the hidden battle.

I watched the helpless soldiers wailed
As they lost their loved ones
In the hidden battle
A battle for life.

I never knew the battle is fierce
So fierce than I thought
My father fought the hidden battle
With all his might.

“He is gone!”
My mother wailed
He fought to conquer
The monstrous foes.

It dawn on me
That my father fought my battle
Along with that of his
He would have won, only if I have taken care of mine.

Only if I had known
That life is battle
I would have fought alongside my father
To bring the victorious trophy home.

I put on my father’s shining amour
And took my glittering sword out of its hidden
I charged against the visible foes
Fighting for the life of others.
